The Romantics Beach Rugby Football Club, gewöhnlich als Romantics bezeichnet, ist ein Beach Rugby Team, bei dem die Spieler, die meist bei einer anderen Mannschaft unter Vertrag stehen, für eine oder mehrere Turniere ausgewählt und eingeladen werden. Die Romantics spielen traditionell jedes Jahr unter einem neuen Motto.

Bedingungen für eine Einladung sind das Können des Spielers, sowie seine soziale Kompetenz auf und neben dem Sand. Eine Berufung wird als große Ehre angesehen und ist nicht an Herkunft, Hautfarbe oder Glauben gebunden. Für jedes Turnier wird ein Don ausgewählt, der die Delegation anführt. Jeder eingeladene Spieler wird Mitglied des Vereins.

Der Club legt wert auf eine körperbetonte, jedoch attraktive Spielweise mit harten Tacklings und schönen Spielzügen.

The Romantics Beach Rugby Football Club, typically referred to as Romantics, is an invitation beach rugby team. Traditionally „The Romantics“ change their motto every season.

Membership is by invitation and the only qualifications considered when issuing an invitation are that the player's rugby as well as his soft skills are of high enough standard. Being asked to become one of „The Romantics“ is an honour and not restricted to origin, color or religion. Traditionally one Don is selected for every Tournament, which leads the delegation.

The club philosophy is based on physical game with hard tacklings and nice free flowing moves.
